As an extension of the university’s recent achievements at the academic and societal levels, the university achieved a new achievement by obtaining 201st place globally, 10th place in the Arab world, and 4th place locally, according to the British Times Foundation’s THE-University Impact Ranking to evaluate universities and measure their impact on society based on their excellence in achieving goals. The university’s vice president, Dr. Nasser bin Ali Al-Jarallah, explained that the university’s participation in international classifications and its obtaining advanced ranks is a testimony to the university’s professionalism and high standard in applying the best international practices in the field of higher education. Continuing successes and achieving advanced positions in such classifications will have an impact on the continuity of improving the university’s outputs to match the competitive requirements in the local and global labor market.
Dr. Al-Jarallah concluded his statement by extending his thanks to His Excellency the President of the University, Professor Dr. Walid bin Hussein Abu Al-Faraj, in appreciation of his good guidance and constant support for the university’s efforts. He also thanked all the university’s units for their effective and integrated role that enabled the university to advance in this classification, praising the efforts of the Quality Center in this regard.
