The College of Pharmacy, in cooperation with the Student Council (Female Section), organized a forum for female students of the College of Pharmacy under the title (Proud to be Pharm D) on Monday, Rabi’ al-Akhir 29, 1437, corresponding to February 8, 2016, in the Knowledge Colleges building.
The forum aims to communicate between female pharmacy students and discuss career opportunities in the labor market.
The meeting began with a welcome speech from Her Excellency the Assistant Head of the Pharmacy Department, Dr. Sally Issa, then the guest of the meeting, Dr. Munira Al-Babtain, gave a lecture about her professional experience, the fields of work available for the pharmacy specialty, and the requirements of the Commission for Health Specialties.
After that, the door for discussion and dialogue was opened for all students to answer questions and inquiries with the guest of the meeting.
The meeting witnessed the presence of 190 female students from the College of Pharmacy and a number of female faculty members and administrators.
