Transformation to the colleges

 

Conditions for transferring to AlMaarefa Colleges

  1. The student must have studied at a recognized college or university.
  2. The student must not have been expelled from the previous university in which s/he was enrolled for disciplinary reasons.
  3. The student’s accumulated average at his/her previous university must not be lower than the college required average for the specialization the student plans to transfer to. Please check the table below for more information:

4. Students may transfer course points earned at other recognized colleges and universities. All applications are examined at their own merit as per the implementation rules for undergraduate study and examinations regulations.

Required Documents

  1. Original high school certificate (Natural Sciences).
  2. Original academic transcripts (legalized).
  3. Approved academic courses specifications from previous university.
  4. Original copy of English Language test results–TOEFL/ ACADEMIC IELTS (if available).
  5. Copy of valid ID with original for verification.
  6. Copy of guardian’s valid ID with original for verification (only for female students).
  7. Copy of the guardian’s family register (only for female students).
  8. Four recent 6x4 photos.

Requirements for Diploma holders (Bridging)

The college may enroll associate degree and higher diploma graduates in different health disciplines with the exception of medicine. This process is subject to the bridging regulations set by the Ministry of  Education and the following criteria:  

  1. The candidate should have completed a three-year associate degree or a two-year higher diploma.
  2. The candidate’s associate degree or diploma average score should be no less than a B+.
  3. The candidate’s bridging course should be related to his/her associate or higher degree diploma.
  4. The candidate should have valid professional classification from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
  5. The candidate’s diploma should have been obtained no more than three years prior.
  6. The candidate’s age should be no more than 26 years old.
  7. The candidate should have one of the following English Language competency certificates. The  date of it being awarded should be no more than two years prior:
  • 52 in TOEFL iBT.
  • 4.5 in (ACADEMIC) IELTS.
  • 75 in the Standardized Test of English Proficiency (STEP) from the National Center for Assessment in Higher Education.
  • The candidate should be committed to full time study. It is compulsory to get a written agreement from the employer in case the candidate is an employee.

  2. Original diploma certificate.
  3. A photo copy of a (valid) professional registration ID card from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties with the original for verification.
  4. Original academic transcripts (legalized).
  5. Approved academic courses specifications from the previous university.
  6. Original copy of English Language test results –TOEFL/ ACADEMIC IELTS (if available).
  7. Copy of valid ID with original for verification.
  8. Copy of guardian’s valid ID with original for verification (only for female students).
  9. Copy of the guardian’s family register (only for female students).
  10. Four recent 6x4 photos.
