The Social Responsibility Unit at Al-Maarifa University, with the participation of the Ministry of Justice, represented by the Labor Court, organized a health campaign under the title “Your Health is Important to Us” on September 16, 2019 AD, held at the court’s headquarters in Riyadh. The campaign shed light on chronic diseases (diabetes, blood pressure, osteoporosis , kidney failure, hepatitis, and obesity).
Among the objectives of the campaign is to familiarize the Ministry’s employees with the concept of these diseases and the percentage of people infected with them in the Kingdom by showing them medical models, taking measurements of weight, height, diabetes and blood pressure, and distributing awareness-raising medical brochures. This participation comes in fulfillment of the university’s mission of the importance of health education and community participation. The campaign was opened by the President of the Labor Court, His Eminence Sheikh Saad bin Nasser Al-Suwaygh, the President’s Assistant, His Eminence Sheikh Muhammad bin Ali bin Hadyan, and the Secretary-General, Mr. Ayoub bin Madallah, on Thursday.
They praised the university's efforts to serve the community and raise health awareness among court employees.
This participation comes in fulfillment of the university’s mission of the importance of health education and community participation.
