At the invitation of the Institute of Intellectual Education in Al-Shifa District in the city of Riyadh, Al-Ma’rifa University, represented by the female student section, participated in activating World Diabetes Day, on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 AD. The university’s participation included organizing four pillars and an awareness exhibition on diabetes, “its definition, symptoms, causes, and methods.” “Prevention and treatment of diabetes” and a special corner for diabetes measurements, in which volunteer female students participated under the supervision of female faculty members from the “Medicine and Nursing” departments.
This participation comes from Al-Ma’rifa University’s belief in the importance of health education and community participation. The exhibition was attended by a number of female visitors and employees of the Institute.
