As part of its social responsibility, the Student Affairs Department at Al-Maarifa Colleges of Science and Technology organized a humanitarian visit to the headquarters of the Saudi Society for Disabled Children on the morning of last Wednesday: 11-15-2017 AD, with the aim of bringing joy and happiness to the hearts of this precious segment of society.
The college students chatted with the disabled children and listened to them and their aspirations. Gifts were then distributed to them and souvenir photos were taken with them.
For her part, Ms. Haifa Osama Al-Roudhan, the association’s volunteer program coordinator, thanked the efforts of the students of knowledge colleges and their fruitful role in enhancing the social volunteer aspect and the significant impact of such visits in raising community awareness and drawing attention to this community group that now needs care and attention from all segments and activities.
