Under the patronage of His Excellency the Vice Dean of Colleges for Admission, Registration and Student Affairs, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Zamil, and based on the colleges’ academic calendar and in the presence of the Head of the General Preparation Department, Dr. Marwan Al-Fahhad, the Student Affairs Department organized on Tuesday: 2/7/2017 AD a meeting for new students for the second semester of the 2016 academic year. – 2017 AD at 10:30 AM in BG25 Hall
The meeting began with a welcoming speech from the social worker, Mr. Mohamed Saad, to the new students, congratulating them on their successful choice of Al-Maarifa Colleges of Science and Technology.
After that, there was a speech by Dr. Marwan Al-Fahhad, who welcomed his fellow students, congratulating them on joining the family of knowledge colleges, stressing the importance of these meetings that aim to introduce the colleges’ systems and regulations. He also informed them of the general preparation program and the academic requirements that the student must obtain before joining the specialization. After that, The speech was delivered by Dr. Hassan Al-Naamna, the academic supervisor in the General Preparation Department, who in turn informed the new students about the importance of psychological counseling and its role in overcoming the difficulties that may arise to the student in his academic career.
This was followed by inviting the students to eat snacks and juices, and the last paragraph was an introductory tour of the college facilities, which ended with the students receiving special uniforms, each according to their specialization.
