Al-Maarifa University participated in the activities of the “My University, the Gateway to My Future” forum, organized and held within the Kingdom’s schools in Riyadh, during the period from February 16 to 20, 2020 AD, and our delegation participating in the Knowledge Pavilion hosted His Excellency Professor Abdullah bin Saad Al-Ghannam, Assistant Director General for Educational Affairs, and his accompanying delegation. And a group of officials and those interested in the field of education, secondary school students from most of Riyadh’s schools and the public of visitors. The Kingdom’s schools welcomed His Excellency’s attendance at the ceremony and participation in the launch of the drug harm prevention program at the forum..
Our participation came from a desire to confirm our message of the importance of community participation. The activities of this distinguished forum were attended by knowledge ambassadors from university employees and students to introduce the health and technical specializations offered, accreditations, the most important events, partnerships and important agreements between knowledge and universities and regional and international institutes. The university also provided orientation sessions on how to Choosing a university major with Professor Hamad Al-Ruwaidan. The university’s participation was a confirmation of its scientific standing in the region, and the necessity of its presence in such participations side by side with national universities. At the conclusion of the forum, the Kingdom’s schools presented a memorial shield to the university as an expression of their thanks for participating in this forum and their contribution to its success.
