Under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Walid bin Hussein Abu Farraj, President of Almaarefa University, the university celebrated the 94th Saudi National Day. The event featured a number of distinguished activities, including the opening of a related exhibition themed “We Dream and Achieve.” This celebration reflects the spirit of pride and appreciation for the nation and its achievements. It embodies the university's vision to promote national values among its staff and students, reinforcing a sense of unity and commitment to the homeland. Such initiatives are significant in cultivating a strong national identity within the academic community.
In celebration of Saudi National Day and in support of the Saudi Vision 2030 goals to increase the number of sports practitioners to 40% by 2030, Almaarefa University organized the “Diriyah Walks” marathon. This event aims to raise awareness among the local Diriyah community about the importance of walking and its effective role in disease prevention. The marathon saw broad participation from various segments of the community, reflecting the university's commitment to promoting public health and sports as part of its contribution to national vision objectives. Such initiatives not only encourage physical activity but also foster community spirit and unity.
Under the slogan “Nationalism is Life ... We Give Life,” and as part of its celebrations for Saudi National Day, Almaarefa University organized the “My Blood is Green” blood donation campaign. The initiative aims to promote values of generosity and national solidarity among university staff and the local community. This campaign reflects the university's commitment to its social and humanitarian role. Through this event, Almaarefa University seeks to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation as a means of saving lives and enhancing the spirit of patriotism, all while aligning with the slogan “We Dream and Achieve.”
On the 94th anniversary of our National Day, we stand together with pride and honor to remember the remarkable achievements of the founder of this great nation, King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud – may his soul rest in peace – whose pioneering efforts united the nation and brought hearts together under the banner of national unity.

participated with an informational booth at the Digital Universities Conference held in Cairo from September 16 to 18, 2024, under the theme “Innovation for Sustainable Digital Higher Education”. Through its participation, the university aimed to explore the best practices in innovation and digital transformation within educational institutions, as well as to showcase its pioneering projects in this field.
In line with Almaarefa University's commitment to promoting health awareness and enhancing patient safety, students from the College of Applied Sciences participated in the World Patient Safety Day activities held at King Saud Medical City on September 18, 2024.
Almaarefa University takes pride in its graduate, Dr. Abeer Al-Anzi, who achieved a distinguished accomplishment by securing second place in the clinical competition for medical cases during the Fourth International Conference of the Saudi Clinical Pharmacy Association.
