The College of Medicine Prepares its Students for Professional Practice

The university places a high priority on preparing students both academically and skillfully, starting from their enrollment in the university and extending beyond their graduation. The student is one of the most important outputs of the university, and the university is committed to producing high-quality graduates. In line with this vision, the College of Medicine organized a preparation and training course for its students for the professional practice license examination. The course spanned three days, from November 25th to November 28th, 2021, comprising approximately 20 training hours.

Medical Students Excel in International Conference

Medical students at AlMaarefa University, including Shujun Al-Azzam, Jana Samir, Sarah Al-Amer, and Amjad Al-Anzi, under the supervision of Dr. Susan Mohammed, achieved third place in their participation in the Third Saudi International Conference on Women's Diseases, Obstetrics, and Reproductive Medicine. The conference was held from November 26th to 27th, 2021, under the patronage of the Saudi Women’s Health Association, with the research titled “Awareness of Resident Females in Riyadh City regarding Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Vaccine.”

Medical Students Achieve International Awards

His Excellency, the President of the University, Dr. Walid bin Hussein Abu Al-Faraj, in the presence of the Dean of the College of Medicine and the Advisor to His Excellency the President of the University, Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Qamizi, honored the medical students Abdulrahman Al-Oufi, Najoud bin Hadeeb, and Hassna Mirza, winners of the Excellence in Research Shields at the Twelfth International Conference on Ear, Nose, and Throat Surgery. The conference featured 180 presentations from various specialties, delivered by 14 international speakers and 176 speakers from within the Kingdom.
