The Community Responsibility Unit at Al-Maarifa University participated in the activities of the World Civil Defense Day under the slogan “Children’s Safety is Our Goal” held at the Riyadh Park Center during the period 3 - 7 March 2019 AD and under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudairy, Undersecretary of the Emirate of the Riyadh Region, who inaugurated the event in the presence of His Excellency Director General of Civil Defense, Lieutenant General Suleiman Al-Amro, and our delegation participating in the university’s pavilion hosted the Undersecretary of the Emirate of Riyadh, the Director of Civil Defense, and the delegation accompanying them, as well as a group of officials and those interested in the safety of children.
The university's participation came out of its belief in the importance of activating community participation in such occasions due to its interest in raising the level of health services to the highest levels.
