His Excellency, the President of the University, Dr. Walid bin Hussein Abu Al-Faraj, in the presence of the Dean of the College of Medicine and the Advisor to His Excellency the President of the University, Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Qamizi, honored the medical students Abdulrahman Al-Oufi, Najoud bin Hadeeb, and Hassna Mirza, winners of the Excellence in Research Shields at the Twelfth International Conference on Ear, Nose, and Throat Surgery. The conference featured 180 presentations from various specialties, delivered by 14 international speakers and 176 speakers from within the Kingdom.
Dr. Mohammed Al-Sharbini, Associate Professor at the College of Medicine, explained that the acceptance, presentation, and discussion of the research of student Abdulrahman Al-Oufi, in collaboration with student Najoud bin Hadeeb, titled “Management of Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss Among Primary Health Care Family Physicians in Riyadh,” and student Hassna Mirza, titled “Correlation of Smoking with Allergic Rhinitis and Bronchial Asthma in Primary Health Centres, Riyadh,” in a conference of this magnitude, reassures the university’s leadership in general and the college’s deanship in particular that the scientific and research programs at the College of Medicine stand out alongside global universities.”
