The Curriculum and Study Plans Committee at Al-Maarifa University organized a scientific workshop to review and develop the curriculum this morning, Thursday 1/27/2021, at the university headquarters.
During the meeting, the workshop reviewed the stages of the project to develop curricula and study plans at the university, as well as global models and experiences of leading universities in the fields of health and applied sciences. The workshop hosted a number of experts in the field of curriculum development.
The organization of this workshop comes within the university’s strategy and strategic vision to be a pioneer in preparing and qualifying distinguished educational outcomes scientifically, cognitively and skillfully, and to be the incubating environment for creativity, innovation and scientific research, and to play an active role in serving the community and contributing to building the knowledge economy in order to contribute to achieving the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
It is worth noting that the university was ranked 201 globally, 10 in the Arab world, and 4 locally in the Times Academic Impact Classification. Al-Ma’rifa University was also nominated among the best (8) universities in the continent of Asia in the category “Best Student Recruitment Campaign for the Year 2020.” These achievements confirm the university’s keenness To excel in the field of quality of education, curricula, outcomes, and excellence in scientific research.
