Dean's Message

The College of Applied Sciences offers eight undergraduate programs: nursing, anesthesia technology, respiratory care, emergency medical services, computer science, information systems, health information systems, and industrial engineering. Our first goal in this college is to work in accordance with quality and accreditation standards for educational institutions using the latest methods in teaching and scientific curricula developed under the supervision of an elite group of faculty members. The college is keen to enhance the value of self-learning and critical and creative thinking, encourage scientific research emanating from the needs of society, enhance the value of cooperation between different health specialties, and build professional identity and professional commitment. We seek, along with the college’s work team, to provide a distinguished academic environment that enhances what the college has achieved, and to advance it to be among the best educational institutions locally and regionally so that it continues to be able - God willing - to graduate qualified medical and technical competencies required in the labor market, in fulfillment of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, and the aspirations of Khadem. The Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Highness the Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman - may God protect them. The relentless excellence that the College of Applied Sciences has been striving for since its inception can only be achieved through careful planning according to clear strategies, and what is most important is the implementation and follow-up of this planning. The college employees’ values of knowledge and work, framed by mastery and ending with benevolence, contribute to achieving this.

Mr. Dr. Mazen bin Mushabab Al-Qahtani
