His Excellency the University President, Professor Dr. Walid bin Hussein Abu Al-Faraj, and His Excellency the Chairman of the Education and Training Evaluation Commission, Dr. Hossam bin Abdul-Wahab Zaman, signed today (Sunday), July 5, 2020 AD, at the Commission’s headquarters in the city of Riyadh, contracts for the implementation of evaluation study projects at the programmatic level for five academic programs in the specializations. Health Sciences University, which is:
- Bachelor of Human Medicine
- Bachelor's degree, Doctor of Pharmacy
- Bachelor of Nursing
- Bachelor of Respiratory Care
- Bachelor's degree in Emergency Medical Services
This contract extends for a full year, including the preparation of an evaluation study for the specific programs, to verify their readiness through visits by independent auditors from inside and outside the country. In preparation for the issuance of the academic program accreditation decision by the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation, which the university seeks to achieve its vision of improving its educational services, preparing qualified competencies, and stimulating scientific and research excellence to participate in building the knowledge society.
It is worth noting that this contract comes from the standpoint of existing cooperation between Al-Ma’rifa University and the Education and Training Evaluation Commission represented by the National Center for Academic Evaluation and Accreditation, and as a continuation of the quality and academic accreditation projects at the university after obtaining institutional accreditation, and keeping pace with national transformations to contribute to achieving the ambitious vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030.
