On Tuesday, October 18, 2016, the student meeting for the first semester of 2016 - 2017 was held in the Great Diriyah Hall, in the presence of His Excellency the General Supervisor of Colleges, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Mulhim.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency the college deans, deans, heads of academic departments, department directors, and members of the administrative and teaching bodies. And college students.
The meeting began with the student council member and presenter, student Khaled Alloush, welcoming the meeting sponsor, His Excellency the General Supervisor, and all attendees, thanking them for their presence. Then the meeting opened with fragrant verses from the Holy Qur’an, recited by student Saeed Al-Zahrani.
After that, the audience was accompanied by a speech by His Excellency the General Supervisor, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Mulhim, who welcomed the audience from his colleagues, brothers, deputies, deans, department heads, members of the administrative and teaching bodies, and his fellow students, noting that this meeting is the first meeting in the colleges’ academic calendar and that the colleges are keen on this meeting for what it does. Who extends a hand of communication and dialogue between the student and all members of the administrative and teaching staff. Then there was a speech by the President of the Student Council, student Musab Niaz, who in turn welcomed his fellow students, defining the role of the Student Council and the purpose for which it was created, and introducing the most important committees within it, calling on his fellow students to register to benefit from their experiences and to enrich the Council.
Then there was a paragraph honoring the students from the Emergency Medical Services Department who contributed with the Red Crescent Authority in providing services to the pilgrims of the Holy House of God during the Hajj season 1437 AH, in the presence of Professor Turki Abdullah Al-Wahaibi, Director of the Volunteer Department at the Red Crescent Authority.
After that, His Excellency the General Supervisor of the Colleges gave permission to the attending students to submit their questions and inquiries to the Deanship of Colleges, which graciously responded to all inquiries, observations, and suggestions that were received in an atmosphere of frankness and transparency.
The presenter then announces the end of the meeting, thanking his colleagues for their presence and inviting them to drink hot drinks and juices.
