In the presence of His Excellency the General Supervisor of the Colleges, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Mulhim, and according to the academic calendar of the colleges, the Knowledge Colleges organized the student meeting for the second semester 2015 AD - 2016 AD, on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 AD.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency the Dean of the Colleges for Admission, Registration and Student Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Al-Zamil, His Excellency the Dean of the Colleges for Academic Affairs, Dr. Zakaria Al-Zamil, His Excellency the Dean of the College of Medicine, Dr. Mamoun Qarmali, His Excellency the Dean of the College of Applied Sciences, Dr. Yasser Al-Turki, His Excellency the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Dr. Muhammad Yamani, heads of academic departments, directors of departments, and members of the two bodies. Administrative and teaching.
Then the meeting began with a welcome to His Excellency the General Supervisor and the attendees, presented by student council member, student Khaled Alloush, who thanked everyone for their attendance, and the meeting opened with fragrant verses from the Holy Qur’an, recited by student Talal Shaheen.
Then His Excellency the General Supervisor, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Mulhim, gave a speech in which he welcomed his brothers and colleagues, the deans, deans, department heads, members of the administrative and teaching bodies, and his fellow students. He also thanked the students who contributed and participated in the questionnaire on the colleges’ strategic plan, and that this is what the colleges aspire to, which is to achieve participation and interaction between departments. The colleges and their students are planning, organizing and developing what will benefit them. His Excellency also explained that the system of internal scholarships and grants continues, but with new controls and standards that the students will be informed of.
Then students were given the opportunity to ask their questions and inquiries to the Deanship of Colleges, which graciously responded to all inquiries, observations, and suggestions that were received in an atmosphere of frankness and transparency.
At the end of the meeting, five names were drawn by lottery to be nominated and their participation fees paid for the Medical Education Conference, which will be held, God willing, at Al-Faisal University from 8-10/4/2016 AD.
