The Governor of Diriyah, Prince Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud, praised the “Sheikh Saad Al Othman Award for Scientific Excellence,” which created an honorable competition between teachers and students of public and private schools in Diriyah Governorate. He expressed his thanks to the award holder for this noble initiative at its annual ceremony, for the positive benefits it has achieved for students and teachers, wishing to work on such initiatives in all regions of the Kingdom.
This came during his generous sponsorship of the award ceremony in its seventh session under the supervision of the General Administration of Education in the Riyadh Region, and organized by the Education Office in Diriyah Governorate, on the evening of Monday, April 2, 2018 AD, where 53 winners of teachers and students were honored (44 male and female students, 5 male and 4 female teachers). );
The ceremony was held in the Diriyah Grand Hall at the Al-Ma'rifa Colleges of Science and Technology, in the presence of the Director General of Education in the Riyadh Region, Secretary of the Award, Mr. Hamad bin Nasser Al-Wahaibi, Sheikh Saad Al-Othman, the Director of the Education Office in Diriyah Governorate, Mr. Fawaz bin Muhammad Al-Dawood, and a number of officials and a group of honorable attendees.
At the end of the ceremony, the Governor of Diriyah honored His Excellency the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Knowledge Colleges, Dr. Zaid bin Muhammad Al-Zamil, and handed the shield to His Excellency the General Supervisor of the Colleges, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Mulhim, thanking and appreciating the role of the colleges in hosting such important events in serving the community, and providing support to achieve their lofty social goals of developing... Thought and science.
His Highness also honored the distinguished male and female students, male and female teachers, student guides, and school leaders.
