On Tuesday, 3/14/2017 AD, the Knowledge Colleges, with the participation of the Civil Defense in Diriyah, and under the direct supervision of His Excellency the General Supervisor of the Colleges, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Mulhim, organized an evacuation experiment, the aim of which was to train and educate all employees of the colleges, both male and female, on the evacuation process during emergencies, to preserve For their safety and reducing losses in the event of a fire, God forbid.
The event was attended by His Excellency the Director of Civil Defense in Diriyah, Colonel Abdullah bin Mutaq Abu Marqa, who expressed his admiration for the success of the experiment, and also pointed out some observations that must be avoided in the future to achieve the best results.
The experiment was carried out by everyone heading to the designated assembly point in the colleges’ courtyard, and the emergency and rescue teams took all measures to preserve the safety and lives of workers in the colleges.
Meanwhile, His Excellency the General Supervisor, His Excellency the Director of Civil Defense in Diriyah, and the Emergency Management Room team were directed to follow up on the evacuation process of workers and students in the control room, manage the evacuation process, and provide support and assistance to the evacuation teams.
It is worth noting that this experience is not the first of its kind, as knowledge colleges have paid great attention to safety and protecting all their employees from the dangers of fires and the resulting damages, by conducting awareness courses and lectures on an ongoing basis, and conducting these experiments that contribute to consolidating awareness among all individuals.
