Al-Maarifa University, represented by the Community Service Unit, launched a fasting breakfast initiative for the children of the Autism Families Association and the people of the Insan Association, on Wednesday, Ramadan 24, 1440 AH, corresponding to May 29, 2019 AD. The initiative aims to bring joy and pleasure to the month of Ramadan, a month characterized by love, giving, and goodness, and renewed bonding, compassion, and brotherhood among individuals. The Islamic community, and the iftar was accompanied by a number of various entertainment segments provided by the university’s community service team.
The initiative comes within the framework of its social responsibility, and out of awareness of the spiritual meanings and faith atmosphere that characterize the month of Ramadan. Professor Sami Al-Dawish, supervisor of the southern sector of the association, also extended thanks and appreciation to Al-Ma’rifa University and its students for this initiative.
