Al-Maarifa University, under the patronage of the Governor of Diriyah Governorate, His Highness Prince Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, held a graduation ceremony for the sixth batch for the year 1439-1440 AH, corresponding to 2018-2019 AD, on Wednesday 08/05/1440 AH, corresponding to 04/10/2019 AD, for all specializations. the university .
The honorable ceremony began with the Royal Salute, and the procession of the graduates, who this year numbered 186 students, starting with the College of Medicine, the College of Pharmacy, then the College of Applied Sciences, after which fragrant verses from the Holy Quran were recited, then the representative of the graduates gave their speech on this occasion, expressing their great pleasure and joy on the day. Their graduation, appreciation and gratitude to the university, their affiliation to this scientific edifice, and their pride in being graduates of Al-Ma’rifa University. After that, His Excellency the University Director, Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdul Rahman Al-Mulhim, delivered a speech in which he praised the support of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may God protect him, and thanked His Highness the Emir of Diriyah for His Highness’ continuous support and patronage of the university’s progress since its inception, and His Highness’s keenness to participate in all scientific forums and events in Diriyah Governorate..
The film “The Joy of a Graduate” was also shown, which included quick meetings with a group of students, to express their feelings on this occasion, in addition to showing a short introductory film about the role of Al-Ma’rifa University in serving society, and it is considered a pioneering scientific edifice that is not limited to the educational process within the university only. Rather, it is a social platform and forum that includes many social events, training courses, and various scientific lectures that serve all segments of society out of its social responsibility. The university has harnessed all means and capabilities that would raise the level of students by concluding agreements with international and local universities, hospitals, and scientific and health centers within the Kingdom. To provide a practical environment for training its male and female students, which is based on qualifying them to contribute to a bright future that meets all the nation’s needs with the best international standards in the health field, and to achieve distinguished outcomes..
At the end of the ceremony, the graduates took the oath, and then His Highness the Prince graciously handed his students graduation certificates, wishing them good luck and success, and congratulating them in their knowledge and work.
