Under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Mishael bint Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, wife of Her Highness Diriyah Governorate, Al-Maarifa University held a graduation ceremony for the sixth batch for the year 1439-1440 AH, corresponding to 2018-2019 AD, on 08/26/1440 AH, corresponding to 05/1/2019 AD, for all university specializations. .
The honorable ceremony began with the Royal Salute, then fragrant verses from the Holy Quran were recited, and then the march of the female graduates, numbering 210 students this year, began, starting with the College of Medicine, then the College of Pharmacy, then the College of Applied Sciences. A short introductory film was also shown about the role of Al-Maarifa University in... Community service, and is considered a pioneering scientific edifice, a social platform, and a forum that includes many social events, training courses, and various scientific lectures that serve all segments of society out of its social responsibility. The university has harnessed all means and capabilities that would raise the level of students by concluding agreements with international and local universities. And hospitals and scientific and health centers within the Kingdom, to provide a practical environment for training its male and female students, which is based on qualifying them to contribute to a bright future that meets all the needs of the nation with the best international standards in the health, technical and engineering fields, and to achieve distinguished outcomes. After that, His Excellency the Vice Dean of the College of Applied Sciences for Academic Affairs, Dr. Nazik, delivered a speech. Muhammad Zakri’s speech during which she appreciated the support of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may God protect him, and thanked Her Royal Highness Princess Mishael bint Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, wife of Her Highness Diriyah Governorate, for Her Highness’s support, care, and keenness to participate in the graduation of the university’s female students.
Then the representative of the graduates gave their speech on this occasion, expressing their great pleasure and joy on the day of their graduation, their appreciation and gratitude to the university, and their affiliation to this scientific edifice, in addition to the screening of the film “The Graduates,” which included quick meetings with a group of female students, to express their feelings on this occasion.
Then Her Royal Highness Princess Mishael bint Abdul-Ilah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud graciously handed her graduate daughters their graduation certificates, wishing them good luck and success, and to bless them in their knowledge and work. At the end of the ceremony, the graduates took the oath with Prof. Dr. Maamoun bin Khaled Qarmali, Dean of the College of Medicine.
