At the College of Colleges, the first batch included 79 female students
Under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Mishael bint Abdul-Ilah bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud, wife of His Highness the Governor of Diriyah, may God protect them, the Knowledge Colleges were honored to recently hold a ceremony for the graduates of the first batch of the year 1435/1436 AH, in the specializations of medicine and surgery, clinical pharmacy, and applied sciences. The ceremony was held in the Diriyah Grand Hall at the colleges’ headquarters in Diriyah. In the presence of a number of female officials, including members of the Shura Council, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health, and directors and deans of public and private universities.
The colleges have harnessed their capabilities and concluded agreements with international and local universities, hospitals, and scientific and health centers within the Kingdom, in order to provide a scientific environment for their male and female students to qualify them to meet great ambitions in order to create a bright future for the dear homeland, which has given so much.
The ceremony began with a fragrant recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, followed by the Royal Salutation, then the march of bachelor’s degree graduates from all specializations, numbering 79 students. The march began with female medicine and surgery students, numbering 24 graduates. The march also continued for female graduates of the Doctor of Pharmacy D program, numbering 20 graduates, and from the Faculty of Medicine. The number of nursing graduates reached 20, two graduates from the respiratory care program, and 13 graduates from the departments of computer science and information systems.
After that, the Vice Dean of Colleges, His Excellency Ms. Dr.. Awatif bint Ali Alem welcomed Her Highness the Princess, the sponsor of the ceremony, and thanked her for her generous sponsorship of the graduation ceremony of the first batch. She also appreciated the great efforts made by the leaders of this country to give their children learning opportunities and prepare them to serve their community, religion and country.
She also thanked those in charge of the knowledge colleges and those who support them in making this edifice a pioneer at the local, Gulf and global levels.
During the ceremony, a video was presented of the achievements of the colleges of knowledge and what they aspire to in the near future, God willing.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, His Excellency and Al-Kayat College presented A. Dr.. Awatif bint Ali Alam, on behalf of the colleges’ employees, presented a memorial gift to the sponsor of the ceremony, Her Royal Highness Princess Mishael bint Abdul-Ilah Al Saud, for her generous care and support for her daughters, students. Then Her Highness honored the graduates, accompanied by Her Excellency the Vice Dean of Colleges.
In turn, on this occasion, His Excellency the General Supervisor of the Colleges, Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdul Rahman Al-Mulhim, expressed his hope to see the colleges’ outputs realize their hopes of serving their community and our dear country, wishing them success and prosperity in their academic and professional lives, and congratulating their families on what their daughters have achieved, except that it is harvest day.
