Holding an anti-drug training course
In the Colleges of Science and Technology
On Monday, 11/20/1435 AH, corresponding to 9/15/2014 AD, employees of the General Directorate of Narcotics Control in Riyadh held a training course for employees of knowledge colleges entitled (Contain them...to protect them).
This took place over two full days, during which valuable lectures were given and research was conducted on the following topics:
1) Definition of drugs, their types, and reasons for abuse.
2) Reports, smuggling methods and the efforts of combat personnel.
3) The role of the family in reducing the involvement of its children in drugs.
4) Causes of addiction in adolescents.
The training course concluded with an awareness exhibition to explain and demonstrate the harms of drugs and their negative effects on the individual and society.
The Deanship of Al-Maarifa Colleges of Science and Technology extends its sincere thanks for the efforts of the employees of the General Directorate of Narcotics and the colleges who made this session a success, and all those who attended and participated in achieving the goals of the course.
