The Colleges of Knowledge hosted a delegation from the brotherly state of Sudan, represented by the National Council for Medical Specialties, on Thursday 04/02/1439 AH corresponding to 12/21/2017 AD.
The meeting was held by His Excellency the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Mamoun bin Khalid Al Kiremli, with the Secretary-General of the National Council for Medical Specialties, His Excellency Dr. Sheikh Al-Siddiq Badr, and a number of employees of the Sudanese National Council. A number of common areas were discussed and it was agreed to begin holding exams for the Sudanese National Council for Health Specialties, starting in June 2018, through the Colleges of Knowledge.
All available arrangements and means were put in place to make this a success. It was also approved to begin the participation of faculty members from the College of Medicine in the Colleges of Knowledge in the examinations conducted by the Council as external examiners. It was agreed to include members of the Council as visiting advisors to the College of Medicine. And finding ways of cooperation between the two parties in holding training courses and the like, which contributes to achieving the desired benefit for both parties. Which in turn contributes to the development and advancement of the College of Medicine in particular and colleges in general.
