The Colleges of Knowledge participated in organizing the voluntary first Scientific Creativity Forum in partnership between the King Abdulaziz Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity and the Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) in the period from 1-3/2/1439 AH corresponding to 10/21-23/2017 AD, at SABIC’s headquarters, which It aims to create a high-quality training group, by providing workshops, specialized lectures, and discussion panels, targeting more than 400 male and female trainers in the National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity (Ibdaa) 2018.
The forum lasted for three days and concluded its work on Monday, 3 Safar 1439 AH, corresponding to October 23, 2017 AD, in the presence of the Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Secretary-General in charge of the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation “Mawhiba”, Dr. Saud bin Saeed Al-Mutahmi, who expressed his deep thanks to the Saudi Basic Industries Corporation. SABIC, for its sponsorship of the first Scientific Creativity Forum in Riyadh, then honored the speakers, sponsors, and male and female student volunteers from the Colleges of Knowledge and King Saud University for Health Sciences.
It is worth noting that the Knowledge Colleges participated with their volunteer students in organizing the forum, and this participation is an extension of previous years under the framework of the community partnership of the Knowledge Colleges in cooperation with the King Abdul Aziz Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity “Mawhiba.” The colleges take this opportunity to congratulate His Excellency the Vice Dean of the Colleges, Professor Dr. Awatef Bint Ali Alam. For this achievement, it is proud of its students and volunteer administrators, and hopes that the edifice of knowledge will stand tall with achievements.
