Al-Maarifa Colleges of Science and Technology, represented by the Department of General Preparation, held a dialogue symposium entitled (Moderation in Islam) in the Great Diriyah Hall of the colleges on Tuesday, 11/27/1437 AH, corresponding to 08/30/2016 AD. The symposium covered several topics in which a number of faculty members in the General Preparation Department spoke. Dr. Mazen Al-Zaben spoke about the approach of the Messenger (may God bless him and grant him peace) in moderation, then Professor Muhammad Sultan spoke about the approach of the Companions (may God be pleased with them) in moderation and moderation. Without exaggeration, Dr. Ismail Khadr then spoke about the negative effects of extremism in thought and belief or in worship and behavior on the individual and Islamic society. The dialogue was moderated by Dr. Hassan Al-Naamna, the academic supervisor in the General Preparation Department, and the symposium concluded, which was attended by the Vice Dean of Colleges for Academic Affairs, Dr. Zakaria. Bin Abdullah Al-Zamil and members of the teaching and administrative staff in the male and female sections, with interventions from the audience that contributed to enriching the topic and deepening the understanding of its dimensions, manifestations and effects on the individual, society and the Islamic world.
