Under the patronage and honor of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Riyadh Region, may God protect him, the closing ceremony for the National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity was held at Al-Faisal University in Riyadh, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Education, Dr. Hamad Al-Sheikh, and a delegation from the UAE and Kuwaiti Ministry of Education, in which I participated. Al-Maarifa University, in cooperation with the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity, where special prizes were presented to the gifted and those in charge of the volunteer organization of the National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity (Mawhibah), during the period from 9-11 Jumada al-Akhirah 1440 AH, corresponding to 14-16 February 2019 AD, and he competed in Creativity Olympiad 2019, 50 students and 52 One of the nation's talented students submitted (102) projects to win Olympic prizes.
The university was represented by His Excellency Dr. Zaid bin Muhammad Al-Zamil, Chairman of the Board of Trustees. After handing over the special prizes to the National Olympiad talent, he was honored by the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for this kind support. Male and female students from Al-Ma’rifa University also participated as volunteers in Ibdaa 2019 and were honored and had pictures taken of them. This participation is an extension of previous years within the framework of the community partnership of Al-Ma’rifa University in cooperation with the King Abdul Aziz Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity “Mawhiba” and according to the draft memorandum of understanding signed between the institution and the Mawhiba and Creativity Department at the university.
