The Academic Acceleration Program...an opportunity for the distinguished
At the beginning of the Hijri year 1443 AH, corresponding to Sunday (08/22/2021), Al-Ma’rifa University launched, in cooperation with the National Center for Measurement, the program “Academic acceleration“For male and female university students, with the aim of accelerating the educational path of outstanding students by passing a number of general preparation courses: (Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Mathematics), after the student obtains the required passing grade; This is done through specialized achievement tests held by the National Center for Measurement. The program targets all distinguished new male and female students accepted into the university’s colleges according to the announced conditions and standards.
His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Walid bin Hussein Abu Al-Faraj said that the academic acceleration program for academic courses aims to translate the vision of the wise leadership - may God support it - calling for the proper use of students’ talents and abilities. This enables the university student to invest his time and advance in his university career according to his mental and academic abilities.
In turn, His Excellency the University Vice President, Dr. Nasser bin Ali Al-Jarallah, explained that the Academic Acceleration Program at Al-Ma’rifa University aims to give distinguished students accepted to the university the opportunity to pass some general preparation courses, and begin studying specialized courses instead. This saves the distinguished student time and effort. He stressed that this falls within the framework of the university’s encouragement of distinguished students in order to achieve the goals and ensure the quality of the educational process in accordance with the goals of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
