The Colleges of Knowledge, represented by the Student Affairs Department, in cooperation with the College of Pharmacy, as well as the Food and Drug Authority, organized the awareness event “Medicine between Community Culture and Medical Need” on Tuesday and Wednesday: 11/29-30/2016 AD, for male and female students.
The program included an educational and instructive lecture by pharmacist Professor Saleh Al-Olayan from the Food and Drug Authority, which was held in the Great Diriyah Hall at the colleges’ headquarters on Tuesday 2/29/1438 AH.
In it, he talked about the importance of medical medicine and its proper use while highlighting the wrong practices in its use. The lecturer also introduced the Authority and gave an overview of its departments and the effective and important role they play in this field.
After that, His Excellency the Vice Dean of the Colleges for Admission, Registration and Student Affairs and His Excellency the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, accompanied by the guest of the colleges, went to open the awareness exhibition about the drug and display a variety of brochures and posters related to the event, and distribute the awareness bag provided by the Food and Drug Authority to college students and high school and middle school students. In Diriyah Governorate, they were invited to attend this event and listen to a comprehensive explanation of it and its desired objectives by the students of the College of Pharmacy.
