Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Education, Dr. Ahmed bin Muhammad Al-Issa, Al-Ma’rifa Colleges of Science and Technology, in cooperation with the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity “Mawhiba” and the Ministry of Education, participated in the National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity “# Creativity_2017 AD”, in which the final qualifying events were held in the period 10-12 Jumada Al-Akhira 1438 AH corresponding to March 9-11, 2017 AD, where the Knowledge Colleges presented six special awards to six male and female general education students in the field of “Biomedicine and Health Sciences.” The Knowledge Colleges were represented by Her Excellency Professor Dr. Awatif Bint Ali Alam - Vice Dean of the Colleges for the Female Section, who represented She participated in the arbitration committees for the final qualifiers - as an arbitrator and member of the supervisory committee.
A large number of female college students and administrators also participated as volunteers in organizing the closing ceremony, which was held at the Conference Center at Princess Nourah Bint University. Abdul Rahman Al Saud.
After announcing the final results of # Creativity_2017, first place went to both male and female students who participated in the field of “Biomedicine and Health Sciences,” and the colleges presented special prizes in this field. On this occasion, the Colleges of Knowledge congratulate His Excellency the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Zaid bin Muhammad Al-Zamil, for sponsoring and supporting creative people in such forums.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the sponsoring institutions and providers of special prizes were honored, and the colleges were represented by Mr. Raif Al-Mulhim, Director of the Public Relations and Marketing Department.
It is worth noting that this participation is the fourth and is an extension of previous years under the framework of the community partnership of the knowledge colleges in cooperation with the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity “Mawhiba.” The colleges take this opportunity to congratulate His Excellency the Vice Dean of the Colleges, Professor Dr. Awatef Bint Ali Alem, on this achievement and are proud of their students and volunteer administrators.
