Under the patronage of His Excellency the Colleges’ Vice Dean for Admission, Registration and Student Affairs, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Zamil, and in the presence of the Head of the General Preparation Department, Dr. Marwan Al-Fahhad, the colleges organized, on Tuesday, September 20, 2016, a meeting for new students for the first semester of the academic year 2016-2017.
The meeting began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, then the Vice Dean of the Colleges gave a speech in which he welcomed his new students, then another speech by the Head of the General Preparation Department, after which he opened the way for students to ask their questions and inquiries to the Vice Dean of Colleges for Admission, Registration, and Student Affairs and to the Head of the General Preparation Department.
After that, the social worker, Mr. Muhammad bin Saad Al-Zeer, gave a speech in which he discussed the importance of social and psychological counseling in colleges and the role of the social worker in overcoming the difficulties that may arise to the student in his academic career.
Then the meeting concluded by inviting the new students to hospitality and taking an introductory tour of the college facilities to get to know them. They were accompanied by some student affairs employees and members of the student council.
