On Tuesday 6-6-1442, corresponding to 1-19-2021, Al-Ma’rifa University organized a meeting for new students.
The meeting began with a speech with His Excellency the Dean of Admissions and Registration, Professor Dr. Muhammad Al-Zamil, who in turn welcomed the new students’ sons and daughters, stressing the need for the student to be informed of the university’s systems, regulations, student rights and duties through the university’s website, and His Excellency the Head of the General Preparation Department, Dr. Mansour Al-Rajeh, as well as The meeting was attended by both new male and female students, and the dean spoke about the mechanism of procedures for admission to the university, the scholarships offered by the university, what are the advantages for university students and graduates, how are the internal procedures for university students, the university environment, and the quality of teaching at Al-Maarifa University. After that, Dr. Mansour Al-Rajeh, head of the department, presented General preparation. He spoke about procedural matters, including the mechanism of testing and studying at the university, clarifying the procedures that students must know, what are the basics that students must know, and how to excel in their scientific field. He also talked about the difference between required subjects and elective subjects. The meeting concluded by opening the door to questions and inquiries for students and answering them.
