The Diriyah Conference and Business Center at Al-Ma’rifa University hosted the “Principles of Volunteering” course, which was organized by the Community Service Unit in cooperation with the Takatuf Association over two days, on Thursday 08/01/2019 AD, designated for female students, and on Thursday 08/08/2019 AD designated for male students, and presented by Trainer Turki. Al-Yami and trainer Wafaa Al-Baz talked about the importance of volunteering because of its effects in refining the volunteer’s skills and gaining scientific and practical experience, as well as introducing male and female students to the principles of volunteering, their rights and duties, and the difference between non-profit and for-profit volunteering and its mechanisms.
Hosting the university was due to its keenness to continue and constantly strive for community and knowledge participation. The association also thanked Al-Maarifa University and the trainers for what they provide to support the community’s work.
