Al-Maarifa University signed a memorandum of understanding with the Toastmasters Foundation to establish a branch of the club within the university. This comes to keep pace with the development that the university is pursuing to develop talent and advance its students.
The university was represented by His Excellency Professor Dr. Muhammad Al-Zamil, Vice Dean of Colleges for Admission, Registration and Student Affairs, while the Toastmasters Foundation was represented by His Excellency Dr. Sulaiman Al-Mady, Chairman of the Saudi Toastmasters Clubs Committee, and Engineer Hassan Mughazil.
Participating in the signing ceremony of this memorandum were His Excellency Professor Dr. Awatif Alam, Vice Dean of Colleges for Female Student Affairs, and His Excellency Dr. Fahd Al-Zamil, Director General of the Administration. .
This memorandum aims to establish a club specialized in producing a generation capable of speaking fluently and competently in front of the public and becoming a leader of the group.
In this context, Dr. Awatif Alam stated that this cooperation comes as a result of the university’s aspiration to provide distinguished services to its students, taking into account and keenness to raise the level of quality of its outputs, and to raise the students’ skills in the field of leadership and speaking in a way that qualifies them to start and continue their practical journey within their community, God Almighty willing.
This agreement also comes as the first cooperation with Toastmasters and a launch to continue establishing many vital projects to serve male and female students in the future.
