Under the patronage of His Excellency the Vice Dean of the Colleges for Admission, Registration and Student Affairs, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Zamil, and in the presence of the Director of the Student Affairs Department, Dr. Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Juhani, the colleges organized on Sunday, 1/17/2016 AD, a meeting for new students for the second semester of the academic year 2015 AD - 2016 AD.
The meeting began with a welcoming speech from the college students. After that, the Student Affairs Supervisor, Dr. Muhannad Pasha, gave a speech in which he welcomed his students and blessed them for joining the Knowledge Colleges family. He stressed the importance of these meetings, which aim to introduce the most important services provided by the Student Affairs Department through the Department of Student Affairs. Student services, as well as extracurricular activities supervised by the Student Affairs Administration. He concluded his speech by recommending to students the necessity of reviewing the colleges’ systems and regulations, informing the student of his rights and duties, and the importance of following the electronic portal from time to time to know everything that the student receives via his email, which is considered the official means of communicating with students. After that, the social worker, Mr. Muhammad bin Saad Al-Zeer, gave a speech in which he discussed the importance of social and psychological counseling in colleges and the role of the social worker in overcoming the difficulties that may arise to the student in his academic career.
Then the meeting concluded by inviting the new students to the student council, taking an introductory tour of the college facilities, and handing them the uniforms for each major and textbooks.
