This morning, Monday 12/10/2018, His Excellency the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Dr. Muhammad bin Jaber Al-Yamani and the Vice Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Dr. Azhar Arafa, Head of the Respiratory Care Department and Head of Emergency Medical Services, Dr. Muhammad Al-Zahrani and Student Activities Officer A. Firas Al-Barrak and the representative of the Public Relations Department, A. Abdul Latif Al Zamil.
At the forefront of the recipients were the Director of the Riyadh Correctional Facility, Major Ali Rashid Al-Zahrani, and the Director of the Social and Psychological Welfare Department, Dr. Sultan Al-Nouri, where they welcomed visitors to the university and explained the tasks of the correctional facility, in order to achieve the university’s mission of serving the community, as it is fully prepared to extend a hand of cooperation to develop correctional programs and inmate care, and to discuss possible aspects of cooperation and what Al-Ma’rifa University can offer to the correctional facility.
The delegation made an exploratory tour around the headquarters, including health halls, departments, and the business center inside the correctional facility. They sat with one of the inmate units and had a dialogue regarding self-development and future vision. Knowledge congratulates the correctional facility for its high level of acceptance of inmates to develop themselves through education and knowledge.
In conclusion, those responsible for the correctional facility extended their thanks and congratulations to the university delegation, for the work it will provide that deserves thanks and praise, and for creating programs targeting inmates and developing themselves to be their best in achieving a bright future.
